Bishop of Nha Trang resigns, successor appointedThe Holy Father Benedict XVI at the Vatican City, on December 4 2009 accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the Diocese of Nha Trang Vietnam. Bishop Paul Nguyên Van Hòa, in conformity with canon 401 § 1 of the Code of Canon Law, passes this duties over to his successor Bishop Joseph Võ Dúc Minh, Coadjutor of the same diocese.
