A US Navy hospital ship, the USNS Mercy, is expected to berth in Nha Trang next month from June 18-28 to provide a host of medical services to locals. The 900 officers and sailors aboard the vessel, including 300 US health and construction experts, will offer voluntary services to conduct health examinations, distribute medicine, and repair local medical equipment. The USNS Mercy is one of the US Navy’s two hospital ships which provide mobile surgical hospital services for use by appropriate US governmental agencies in disaster or humanitarian relief, or limited humanitarian care incident to these missions.US hospital ship to anchor in Nha Trang
