According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological forecasting, the tropical low pressure has strengthened into storm. Halong storm ( is named by Vietnam) doesn,n reach Vietnam. However, Vietnam will feel strong effects of the storm. National Center for Hydrometeorological forecasting said on 19h 16/5, eye of the storm is located 14.6 degrees north and 117.6 degrees east on the east of East Sea.The strongest winds near the centre of the storm have been measured at force 8, 9( 62to 88km per hour) . It is forecast that in the next 24 hours, the storm will slowly move east-north-west direction, at speeds of 15km per hour and will stronger.
